The earth’s magnetic field is the shield that protects us from cosmic radiation. It’s created by the so-called geodynamo process. It’s pure energy, power and dynamism: among other things, hot molton iron flows around the earth’s outer core and generates an electric current that in turn produces the magnetic field.
It even fascinated the ancient Egyptians, who were known to use their knowledge of natural magnets for their well-being. And it’s said that Cleopatra wore magnetic pendants to preserve her beauty.

The strength of a magnetic field is measured in tesla or gauss. One tesla equals 10,000 gauss. Most of ENERGETIX’s products contain magnets with 0.12 tesla. But we also offer a large selection that feature powerful magnets that are stronger than 0.18 tesla for even more magnetic power.

Many species of animal use a sense of magnetism to find their way around.
Sea turtles do, for example, and the ability to navigate in this way is just fascinating for scientists. They don’t only use the earth’s magnetic field as a compass, they also use it for detailed mapping. That allows them to remember exact ‘addresses’ and return to their places of birth even after they’ve been away for years.
But many secrets of this phenomenon still need to be unravelled and we look forward to many more research findings.

All of ENERGETIX’s magnets are neodymium magnets. These magnets are so tiny that they can be integrated into even the most delicate item of jewellery. But their power is amazing. Neodymium is used to produce the strongest permanent magnets in the world.
