Besides the forward-looking ‘Joris House’ project, ENERGETIX also supports some of the foundation and Ndlovu Care Group’s other great charity projects. The focus is always on the people – no one is excluded. It’s all about helping people to help themselves, about human dignity and about achieving lasting positive changes. Social, health and future-oriented changes. You’ll find many of the realized visions, plans and current projects as well as interesting background information here at the Hugo Tempelman Foundation’s website. It’s our declared objective to achieve even more in this regard and to work together to do our utmost to help others, particularly the youngest ones among us.
The Joris House
The Joris House is a daycare centre that provides both medical and therapeutic assistance to children and young people with disabilities while also supporting their families in their everyday lives. The mission: to also involve the parents of the centre’s young charges and to help them deal with the disability while showing them how to support and care for their children. This is a hugely important intervention and task that is designed to give young people the chance to live a reasonably normal life.
